It’s been a long time coming…
This trip has been on my bucket list for over five years, but I’m the type that when I say I’m going to do something, I make it happen. When Minjeong (Mimi) moved to South Korea after we graduated High School, we talked often about how I had to visit her. A few months back, the stars aligned and I had a direct flight from MSP to HND taking off on October 15. When Mimi picked me up at the Haneda Airport, it was like not a day had passed. From there, we were off on our whirlwind adventures through Tokyo and Seoul.

Shopping Spree
From cat-themed gift shops to a 1am frenzy through the 7 levels of Don Quijote, the girlies shopped ’till we dropped. Take a look at the haul.
Seoul Food Tour
The food we ate in Seoul was life changing. Read about everything I tried. Plus, a few spots to try in Minneapolis to get some Seoul flavor.
Photo Gallery
A picture is worth a thousand words but what if I told you we took over a thousand pictures…
Here are the best photos from the trip and for all of you future tourists, I hope these inspire your next adventures.
Junk Journaling
One of my personal challenges for this trip was to keep scraps from the places we visited to add to my polaroid scrapbook. Check out the reel where I put it all together:
