I’ve been sitting on this zine for months! At the time I did feel very lost, but now I am in my groove, living in my adorable studio in NE Minneapolis. I hope you enjoy flipping through the custom JavaScript digital version or print it out for yourself!
What is a Zine?
Zine, derived from the word magazine, is a small circulation self-published pamphlet often used by underrepresented voices to distribute new ideas. They are a form of art and publishing all in one tiny folded piece of paper.
Dreams for the Zine
My goal eventually with all my printable art is to have a table set up at a maker’s market or art festival sometime soon. I am actively working on my collection, so I can have a full table of adorable things to share. There are also several zine galleries with open calls for submission, which I will be entering this zine into! Something I have not pushed myself as an artist to do is submit to galleries. I always worry I won’t be on par with the other submissions. I should not be shutting myself down like that. If I make room for other people to tell me no, maybe I’ll get a yes.

Publishing Journey
This zine also touches on many of the themes in my manuscript, so maybe it could be a piece of that work as well! If you want to follow my publishing process for a full length manuscript, read more below.
